It is about a month ago, when we first spotted a leaked firmware update of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III, But unfortunately there were too much glitches and bugs in that (incomplete) ROM. Now it is being reported that the new firmware update is much stable and the most of the major bugs got fixed. There is no any further details about what exactly fixes our new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean have. Samsung Galaxy S III is the most popular mobile phone ever by Samsung and there are millions of copies are sold worldwide. There is a high possibility that this could be the last update for Verizon customers this year. Android Jelly Bean 4.1 for Samsung Galaxy S III is available to download in both ODEXED and DEODEXED versions (Download and installation guide link is available at bottom of this post). Most of the analysts are suggesting that latest update is just a bug-fix to earlier release, but you can try it yourself.
A research agency/firm, Strategy Analytics announces that according to their research, Samsung Galaxy S III is the most popular smartphone in third quarter by selling 18 million GS3 worldwide. According to their research and latest statistics the Samsung Galaxy S III is having 10.7 per cent of the total smartphone market share in third quarter and beat iPhone 4S which is having 9.7 per cent of global smartphone market by shipping 16.2 million copies. In second quarter Apple has shipped 19.4 million iPhone 4S and decrease sale in third quarter by 16 per cent. Apple first shipped 6 million units of iPhone 5 and (according to Apple) it sold 5 million of them in only first week. According to above stats it seems that Apple is focusing on iPhone 5 now and it I can bet that Samsung Galaxy S III would not hold this victory in last quarter of 2012. What do you think?
